Was going to go with 'Initial D' but I don't think you'd get that reference. Anyway. It was no trouble, everyone deserves to have that kind of mobility in their lives, whether their brains are squishy or made out of wires and complex coding. I'm not really as great at robotics as Tony or Hermann, but I'm glad I was able to get something scrounged up.
As much as this was from the goodness of my squishy human heart, I'm not gonna pass up an opportunity to cash in on an I.O.U, but it's probably not as intense as you'd think. If I could get some personal items from home for my friends, that'd be sweet as hell? Tony's totally mentioned his family before, that dude is 100% a sentimental bitch, so I'd love if I could get him a photo album from home. Also, a bag of dried fruit. For some reason he seems to be super into dried fruit. I don't get the appeal, but I guess it's better that vegetables.
And Hermann (I've been in his head! I know that sounds weird but whatever), I think he'd really like this old childhood toy rocket he had. I bet it's in a box somewhere. Maybe that and a couple old science texts for his shelf? We didn't really have a lot of sentimental stuff back on our old base, well okay I did, I had a ton of Kaiju action figures and stuff. But I'm not sure he did, so I figure he could use some here for morale! Early Christmas presents, even. Do we have Christmas in space? Anyway.
Let me know if none of that is doable, I'll figure something else out.
As for me, uh! This is kind of a weird request, but I do have a handful parts I'm really looking to get for the lab. If I make a list for you, you think you could collect 'em? They're pretty cheap individually and not all that rare, shouldn't be a drain on your resources too badly. I've been hoping to replicate a makeshift Pons system like the one I had right before showing up here. Mooost of it's easy to substitute for, but I'm missing little bits here and there.

[ It's not much longer after Elthree ends her holo call with the man calling himself Newt that she finds herself entering the laboratory. She can hear the loud cacophonous music echoing down the hall as she approaches. If she hadn't been there before to know it was in fact the lab, she might think she was walking into a cantina.
She strides in, voice pitched loud to carry above the din. ]

[She teases as he opens the door, holding out the box for him to take. It's a box she has to hold in both of her hands, and if he's the sort to give it a shake he'll hear a few items jostling around inside.]

Inside the box are a couple of drawings. One is of him, sketched when she first picked up the habit one night while she was hanging out with him in the labs. They had just sat around listening to music while he worked that night, and she had taken to studying him and trying to commit his every detail to memory. It's how she sees him, strong and brilliant, and one of the brightest lights on the station. There's musical notes and periodic symbols, stars and little monsters drawn all around him on the page. He's her favorite rock star, monster loving scientist and she wants him to know that someone out there sees him as being very cool.
The other piece of paper is smaller, but has a poorly drawn version of a tattoo. There's a note written on the bottom of that page.
Next opportunity there is, we're getting matching tattoos. Thought I also might get this one, so I can always be reminded of reaching across the stars to find you. If I could, I'd take your hand and we'd run away and never look back. After everything we've been through, you're more than just a friend. More than sex to let off some steam. You're seared onto my heart, part of my family. And I don't mind marking my body with something permanent, because it'll always remind me of you.

[Listen, Hermann has plenty of justification for knocking on Newton’s door in the middle of the night. For one, his nose is bleeding again. Second, Hermann is overwhelmed by a feeling of separation anxiety that only his lab partner knows how to resolve.]
[What a coincidence, Newt had only just finished mopping up his bleeding nose and throwing the evidence into the trash. A coupla' heavy duty advil, and all he needs to do is wait for the shakes to subside and for sleep to be possible again. The nightmares are kinda something that's a second skin now, something as obnoxiously frustrating as a kid with a bedwetting problem.
He startles at the knock at the door, and moves cautiously to open it. The man that greets Hermann is one with bedhead and an undershirt and sweats, sleepiness etching the lines of his face. A face that furrows with some confusion. He didn't bring his glasses with him, so Hermann's a bit blurry, but there's no mistaking him.]
